Jolla Tablet is the world's first crowdsourced tablet running Sailfish 2.0 Operating System by Jolla. Its Indiegogo campaign was started on November 19, with a goal of $380,000. And It was able to raise over $1.3 million*. Jolla added three other stretch goals, which were MicroSDHC support up to 128 GB, Split Screen and Option to update Wi-Fi only Tablet to 3.5G + Wi-Fi Network for extra $30.
It is a 7.85 inch IPS display tablet with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution at 330 pixels per inch. It is powered by 64-bit 1.8 GHz Quad Core Intel processor with 2 GB of RAM. Default internal storage is 32 GB and it can be expanded up to 128 GB via MicroSD card. It has 5 Megapixel rear camera with full HD 1080p video recording ability and 2 Megapixel as front camera.
This tablet is fully operated through gestures and with some of its features like showing all opened apps in one single view, ability to run Android apps, having Ambiences which can be used to personalize the tablet, having Events feature where users can see all the messages, calendar events and other info in one single view, using this tablet will be a new experience for the users.
