Description:
Sony α7 II is the next model in α7 Series of Sony's interchangeable lens models and this is the worlds first* camera with Optical 5-axis Image Stabilization designed for a full frame image sensor.
It is a 24.3 megapixel camera with a 35 mm full frame Exmor CMOS sensor. With its Optical 5-axis Image Stabilization, it can detect and correct various camera shakes along 5-axis for images and video which includes stabilization for Angle Shakes and Shift Shakes. For still images, stabilization is equivalent to up to 4.5 steps faster shutter speed of correction. With its 5-axis image stabilization, taking handheld low-light images at the slower shutter speeds becomes very easy without using a tripod.
Wide autofocus coverage is possible using 117-point focal plane phase-detection AF sensor with 25 contrast detection AF points. And its autofocus is 30% faster than its previous models and 1.5 times the tracking ability of previous models with an improved motion prediction algorithm. It also has a 'Lock on AF' feature which optimizes focusing on the subject in accordance with its size.
It is equipped with full frame Exmor CMOS image sensor with approximately 24.3 Megapixels and BIONZ X image processing engine for taking high-quality images and shooting videos. A tilting display of White Magic LCD screen and XGA OLED Tru-Finder viewfinder with a 2.36 million dot equivalent resolution and high contrast is useful to see and change setting according to users need. And with its Wi-Fi in the NFC support, it will be easy for the users to share images and videos with other devices.
