Facebook is now partnering with mobile operators to give free or discounted data access to Facebook messaging for the subscribers. In recent months in my country we used get free data access when we buy a smart phone which includes mobile operator. And we used to have unlimited plans for data, but now mobile operators are reducing unlimited plans even if they have unlimited plans we get low bandwidth with high prices.To solve this problem Facebook is partnering with more than 18 operators in 14 countries. According to Facebook, they offer free or discounted data access in coming months for Android and iOS Messengers, Facebook for every phone which is optimized for chat.
How to use Facebook on Android if you have Low Bandwidth Connection?
There is a Facebook android app which can be used if you have a low bandwidth connection. There are two versions of this app, one is paid and other one is free. You can get the free ones HERE and paid one HERE.If you don't like to use any apps, simple way to reduce your usage is to change the settings of your browser in your mobile device to low features like reducing image quality, loading only some portions etc. It will reduce the data usage to some extent.
