Difference Between Regular Wi-Fi Access and Facebook Wi-Fi Access

Facebook Wi-FiFacebook has partnered with Cisco Systems, a multinational corporation, which designs, manufactures and sells networking equipment to offer free Wi-Fi access to the customers who visit business places.

As you know, when you visit a showroom, restaurant or a mall, you can access to the Internet by using their Wi-Fi, if it is available for free i.e., Open Wi-Fi. But for some businesses, they have password protected Wi-Fi access. So if you want to access the Internet through their Wi-Fi, you must enter their password. But with the businesses having Facebook Wi-Fi, you can use their Wi-Fi for free, after checking in to their business Facebook page.

You do not have two check-in to their Facebook page another time you visit that place or business, If you checked-in before. Facebook Wi-Fi is coming to more number of businesses in the coming weeks, so you may be able to get free Wi-Fi for checking-in to their page.
